PROFESSOR Peter Hines, one of the world’s leading authorities on business improvement and the application of the Lean Thinking Principles, is visiting Australia in August 2006.

As Director of the Lean Enterprise Research Centre (LERC) at Cardiff Business School in the UK and Chairman of SA Partners Pty Ltd, the largest Lean implementation and training group in Europe, Professor Hines is internationally recognised as a leader in Lean Thinking and assists many organisations and industries with the deployment of strategy and policy.

For the past eight years, Professor Hines has worked closely with InteLog Pty Ltd and its Managing Director, Andrew Stewart, to bring the latest tools and experience to the Australasian region.
