Moisture control: CSIRO spin-off hits ground running
A NEW spin-off company from the CSIRO, called Intalysis , has hit the ground running with its Low Frequency Microwave (LFM) moisture analyser, designed for bulk materials handling applications. Multiple orders have already been received from BHP Billiton and other resource companies.
Intalysis was spun off to commercialise its LFM moisture analyser, the culmination of over 20 years’ work in moisture analysis technology. Support services include calibration, monitoring and data backup.
Local and international distributors are Australian-based Control Systems Technology and Praxis Minas in Brazil, respectively.
The analyser is being used in the iron ore and coal industries to improve material handling and environmental performance.
