Supplied by Instrument Solutions Australia , Meriam M201 test equipment has been enhanced to provide new features that improve its general usefulness and make rotary (natural) gas meter drop tests easier to perform.
A new measure mode displays differential pressure readings while standing by for a drop test. This allows users to make general DP measurements and provides convenient feedback on zero performance.
Measure Mode also lets users know when the M201 test equipment is correctly connected to a meter and ready for the test.
The M201 uses an internal stop watch to time test periods once a drop test is started, meaning the technician no longer needs to time the drop test externally.
The M201 results screen shows the test period and average DP once the test is stopped, as well as minimum and maximum DP levels.
M201 rotary gas meter test equipment has an accuracy of ±0.1% FS (28” H2O range) or ±0.05% FS (200” H2O range), providing better performance than mechanical gauges, manometers or similar handhelds.
The M201 is also suitable for operating temperatures from -4º to +122º F (-20º to +50º C).
New hardware options protect the M201 from one sided overpressure. Options include a ¼ turn valve and an integral push-to-read cartridge valve in addition to the traditional push-to-read valve manifold.
M201 test equipment also features:
- 100+ hours battery life
- 1/8” NPT(F) HI and LO pressure connections
- backlit display; and
- optional intrinsic safety certification.
