Connecting the Dots 2009: Managing the Future of Global Supply Chains is an international conference held in Auckland NZ. This conference focuses on supply chain visibility and traceability. Representatives from Fonterra, Foodstuffs, Woolworths, Coca Cola Amatil and EastPack will be among the large New Zealand companies giving their perspectives.

Innovit , providers of software systems for Master Data Management (MDM) and Workflow Management, will use their sponsorship of the GS1 NZ Conference to launch their latest range of iICE Validator and iICE MDM solutions (Certified for GS1net Version 2.0). This suite of iICE products will deliver a user-friendly, yet powerful tool-set for companies to validate, manage and synchronise their product master data.

According to Marketing Manager Robert Durrant, Innovit has a long-standing relationship with GS1 in both New Zealand and Australia. Their alliance partnership has allowed the organisations to drive the adoption of new philosophies around Global Data Synchronisation (GDS) and Master Data Management (MDM). The emergence of data pools like GS1net that use global standards for product data definition has rapidly changed the supply chain landscape of industries such as FMCG, Hardware, Stationery, as well as Healthcare.

With an increasing focus on ensuring data integrity, data accuracy and data consistency in the business world today, Innovit’s suite of iICE MDM products will reshape the way master data is processed, validated, controlled and managed.

Innovit’s breadth of master data management solutions cater for the varying needs of all sized companies. Their iICE Validator for GS1net is designed for suppliers that simply need to meet compliance with GS1net. They can quickly and easily validate and publish their product catalogues to GS1net. For companies that have more sophisticated data management needs, iICE MDM is the flagship product. iICE MDM allows users to design, configure and execute their own approval workflow processes for the maintenance of all master data, including products, customers and vendors.

Innovit will be joining a number of other exhibitors at the GS1 Connecting the Dots conference.
They will have representatives on-site to answer any questions about how their iICE solutions can improve the management and quality of the master data. During the conference they will also have software launch kits available to delegates and visitors to the expo.

GS1 Connecting the Dots Conference 2009 will be held in February in Auckland.
