Available from Innovia Films , RayoForm IW is a solid white pigmented biaxially oriented polypropylene film for in mould labelling of polyethylene and polypropylene containers.
This In Mould Labelling (IML) film is manufactured using the ‘bubble’ process, offering balanced biaxial orientation and broadly equal mechanical properties in the machine and transverse directions.
Thanks to the specialist surface and anti static characteristics, this in mould labelling film can be used for high speed sheet fed printing and provides outstanding adhesion to injection moulded PP containers.
Additionally, the film’s balanced orientation also results in reduced container distortion while the film’s solid nature ensures that the orange peel effect does not occur after moulding.
RayoForm IW should be used when a gloss effect is desired following the moulding process. The 72um version is particularly suited to large (> 3 litre) containers.
RayoForm polypropylene in mould labelling film features:
- Excellent whiteness
- Recyclable with polyolefin materials
- Balanced biaxial orientation
- Resistant to moisture and oils
- Suitable for direct contact with food
