Innovia Films  (Asia Pacific) P/L, who market NatureFlex in Australia and New Zealand, have announced that Australasian Bioplastics Association has adopted the European Bioplastics Association’s seedling logo. NatureFlex is a range of biodegradable and compostable flexible films which meets the stringent EN13432 and ASTM 6400 standards that the seedling logo represents.

Following are the benefits of NatureFlex biodegradable and compostable flexible films:

  • Manufactured from renewable raw materials from sustainable forestry sourcing
  • Low carbon manufacturing process, and indeed the films are CarbonZero at point of sale
  • Good product protection due to the films' light, oxygen and tailored moisture barrier properties (dependent on grade)
  • Viable waste management through composting and energy recovery methods
