Innovia Films launches new NatureFlex website

Supplier News
Leading international producer of speciality substrates, Innovia Films has launched a new website focusing specifically on its compostable, cellulose-based product, NatureFlex.
The new NatureFlex website has been designed to provide a fast track to focused information and headlines with sections for Consumers, Designers and Converters.
A carousel on the home page shows the key application areas for NatureFlex cellulose films such as coffee, dried foods, home and personal care with the respective images leading the visitor to detailed information about the benefits of the film for the specific market.
A time-lapse video clip shows how NatureFlex breaks down over time in a see-through compost bin with 12 weeks condensed into just over 1 minute. New case studies are also available to showcase successes or the prime advantages of using cellulose films for particular products.
According to Alexander van ’t Riet, Innovia Films’ Global Sales & Marketing Director, the NatureFlex-specific website was launched to strengthen the core messages of the renewable and compostable product in a user-friendly interface that will allow visitors to locate information easily.
Sold to converters, brand-owners and end-users across the globe, Innovia’s transparent, metallised and coloured films have become an integral part of packaging, labelling or overwrap solutions for several world-leading brands across categories such as confectionery, perfume, cheese, tea, shampoo, tobacco, soft drinks and biscuits.
Key features of NatureFlex cellulose films:
  • Certified to meet American ASTM D6400, European EN13432 and Australian AS4736 standards for compostable packaging
  • Wood pulp sourced from managed plantations (FSC or equivalent)
  • Renewable bio-based content typically 95% by weight of material according to ASTM D6866
  • Confirmed as suitable for emerging 'waste to energy' techniques such as anaerobic digestion, aiding the diversion of organic wastes from landfill
