Innovec Controls has introduced new DIR16 Powered process indicator.
The DIR16 is a panel mounting powered process indicator that accepts a 4-20mA or 0-10VDC input signal, generates a 4.5 digit high intensity LED display of 20mm digit height and has sixteen NPN transistor outputs rated at 50mA 24VDC resistive.
The Powered process indicator is supplied in a 72 x 144mm panel mount enclosure with a weatherproof front.
All of the instruments functions are user programmable from the front of instrument mounted touch buttons which have tactile feedback.
The functions include display brightness, decimal point, input scaling and output turn on turn off position and ten different menu selections.
If you want to control packaging machine in a bottle filling application using a 2 wire linear potentiometer, the DIR16 can have a regulated 10VDC excitation power supply for the sensor and control the stroke length of the filling cylinder and additive solenoids with its sixteen outputs.
As different sized bottles require different settings, this information can be programmed into the instrument and selected as required.
Simply select the menu of your choice and the DIR16 will do the job for you.
It is powered from 120/240VAC or 18 to 36VDC and electrical connection is by a two part plug together screw terminal.
