Innovative Conveying Systems International (ICSI) have announced the signing of an agreement with Bilfinger Berger Services (Australia) for jointly identifying, pursuing and constructing projects utilising the Innovative Conveying System (ICS) technology.
Bilfinger Berger Australia are part of the international construction services company, Bilfinger Berger AG. Through their subsidiaries (Abigroup, Baulderstone Hornibrook and Bilfinger Berger Services), Bilfinger Berger Australia are well known engineering, construction and asset management groups in the country. Employing over 5,000 staff in Australia, they have delivered major infrastructure and engineering projects, with a turnover of AUD$3.7 billion in 2007.
According to Michael Pietsch, Managing Director ICSI, the agreement is a step forward for Innovative Conveying Systems International as Bilfinger Berger have a history dating back 125 years, hence comprising comprehensive knowledge and experience in material handling projects.
The agreement will accelerate the adoption of Innovative Conveying Systems International’s belt systems by utilising Bilfinger Berger’s extensive presence and considerable project execution capabilities throughout the Australasian region. Clients will also be provided with a better level of service.
