Plans are well underway for the Austmine 2007 Conference, to be held at the Burswood Entertainment Complex in Perth, Western Australia on 12-13 February. The conference is being held in the same week as the APEC 2007 Mining Ministers meeting in Perth. The event will be a follow up to last year's inaugural Austmine conference which was a resounding success, attracting over 250 delegates drawn from over 20 countries.
The Austmine 2007 Conference will be a major event on the Australian mining industry's calendar, and will once again be supported by the Australian Government through the Austrade global mining network. The theme of Austmine 2007 will be that ‘Australian Technologies Optimise Lifelong Mining Returns’.
The event will showcase Australia's leading innovation and experience in developing new technologies and services for the international mining industry. Delegates are expected to attend from all over the world, including a large number from the Asia Pacific given the Government delegations who will be in town for the APEC Mining Ministers meeting.
Austmine 2007 will attract the top decision makers from the global mining corporates, Australian mining companies, financiers and investors, as well as mining technology and service providers from across Australia.
