SSA Global Technologies has announced a service offering Client System Support (CSS). This offering provides additional services to supplement and augment the core OnGoing Support (OGS) program for SSA GT customers.
The offering has been piloted in Australia for the past two months. CSS is structured to provide key enhancements including a dedicated team providing support over extended business hours, full support and maintenance of code modifications and full iSeries operations support.
In a bid to reduce costs, reduce time-to-resolution, and improve its service and support to its customers, Diageo Australia, formerly Guinness UDV, a long-standing customer of SSA GT, embraced CSS on March 1.
Mr Huyen Dang, business support manager for Diageo Australia, said Diageo Australia was looking for a way to extend the OGS agreement that was in place. We needed a support program in which we could leave any issues with SSA GT to gain quick resolution.
"With the new agreement, SSA GT offered us a single drop in point for all BPCS and AS400 related issues. They tailored the program to our needs and worked closely with us to develop a plan to reach the level of excellence required, leaving us free to focus on our core business."
