A close partnership between Australian materials handling turnkey systems specialist and world renowned sorting equipment manufacturer and supplier FKI Logistex has brought to the Australian market the S-3000E Tilt-tray sorter.
Many industrial categories including general distribution, freight and parcel delivery, baggage handling, and manufacturing processes illustrate broadly the scope of the market applications currently served in Europe and North America by the S-3000E Tilt-tray sorter.
Consisting of carts with electrically driven tilting devices, the technology is a reliable transport and sorting system capable of speeds as high as 3.5m/s. The sorter is available in a multiple sizes to suit a range of applications
The S-3000E available from Industrial Conveying Australia reduces centrifugal forces with optional tray-tilting through curved sections of the sorting path with the system’s electronic tilt mechanism. Its tilt mechanism not only increases the systems capacity for speed, but also provides superior discharge control with its adjustable rates and timing of tray tilting.
Utilising a non-proprietary control system and the capacity to handle two and potentially three tray items, depending on the sorting speed, the S-3000E operates at low noise level of approximately 62 dB(A).
Further safety measures include a fully enclosed machine frame, safety guards and nets, and ergonomically designed workstations.
