MATERIALS handling technology specialist Industrial Conveying (Aust) Pty Ltd (ICA ) has configured a range of patented transport loading systems that automate dock activity and truck trailer beds. Systems in this new range include the Airola, Airchain and Transkate.

Airola (rollers raised - load live)
This system has a pneumatic roller track floor system for installation in trucks, trailers and aircraft and eliminates the need for a forklift to load or unload.
'Activated' Airola provides a low profile, above-floor 'cushioned' conveying system with a high tolerance to overload and impact.
During transit, the risk of cargo damage is reduced while usage of trucking fleets is maximised.
Airola (rollers lowered - load stable)
This 'de-activated' system also has a pneumatic roller track floor system for installation in trucks, trailers and aircraft. It retracts to allow cargo to rest securely on the floor after loading, then raises to quickly unload.
The load is firmly supported along the entire length during transit to provide safe cargo handling with a minimum of delay. On-board controls save time and labour.
Airchain
This powered trailer bed conveyor system provides automation for bulk and palletised cargo.
Making the task fast and safe, the Airchain is suitable for selective loading and unloading by one operator and it dispenses the need for a forklift.
Automated Dock Loading
Incorporating the extremely cost efficient Airola and Airchain modules, the Automated Dock Loading system efficiently handles pre-assembled bulk and palletised cargo.
Providing optimum flexibility, the system facilitates quick and easy installation and requires minimum maintenance.
The system is a sensible roll-on roll-off operation that provides obstruction free decks and dispenses with the need for loading and unloading with a forklift.
Transkate
Transkate is a powered dock loading system for installation in loading docks so that trucks and trailers require minimal maintenance, yet the outcome is both truck and dock are provided with complete automation for loading and unloading.
This highly efficient system can handle all types of palletised or unpalletised freight and can even eliminate the need for pallets altogether.
For rapid loading, Transkate allows for pre-assembly of whole cargo consignments.
