Differentiating FeaturesOne of the main benefits of the rotary servo platform labelling machine has over an in-line labelling machine is that it has better product control and more flexibility in applying labels on to products where an in-line labelling machine could not cope. It’s extremely versatile with servo driven platforms that can be individually programmed for rotation to suit a huge variety of applications.
Up to 6 labelling heads can be utilised; Front, back, neck, shoulder, medallion or fully wrap round. These labelling heads can be configured as interchange labelling stations providing seamless production with efficiencies as high as 96%. Impresstik’s patented ‘Webmaster’ labelling machines may also be integrated into this machine. These labelling machines can achieve output rates up to 550 products per minute; they are PLC controlled with a touch screen operator interface. Calibrated set points and quick-change colour coded tooling enable fast changeovers between products.
Many additional features may be added to these labelling machines i.e. optical orientation within the main turret for label alignment to marks or features on the product, Printer integration for batch coding, label presence and verification.
