Leading supplier of surface and underground operator training simulators to the global mining industry, Immersive Technologies has announced a significant milestone with the certification of its 1000th TrainerAdvantage participant.
Immersive Technologies is a world-leading and proven supplier of surface and underground mining equipment simulators to the global mining industry.
The TrainerAdvantage simulator certification is a globally-recognised certification program launched by Immersive Technologies in 2006 to assist their customers in achieving a strong return on investment from their simulators through improved understanding and application of the technology.
Specifically designed for simulator training supervisors, the TrainerAdvantage is a three level certification program that includes classroom and hands-on sessions working with their simulator under the instruction of an Immersive Technologies' instructor.
Each level in the program is designed to progressively increase the trainer's knowledge from basic operation of the simulator to advanced administration and management.
Peter Salfinger, Chief Executive Officer of Immersive Technologies says that consistent feedback from their customers confirms TrainerAdvantage as an important tool to help drive the expected value from their simulator investment.
Speaking on the milestone, he adds the success of the simulator training program confirms that the industry recognises the contribution of Immersive Technologies simulators in making a site safe and profitable.
Additionally, the TrainerAdvantage simulator training program also provides mines with a valuable standard to use when recruiting new training staff for their Immersive Technologies' simulators. Mines are in fact, advertising for training staff with the TrainerAdvantage certification.
TrainerAdvantage is one part of a comprehensive package of support services offered by Immersive Technologies to customers, which also includes technical support, training systems integration and analytical measurement.
Immersive Technologies will demonstrate its latest range of surface and underground mining simulators this September in Sydney, Australia at AIMEX 2011.
