IW Distribution has launched VoSKY Call Centre, the first Skype certified ATA solution for home use.
Until now Skype users were required to call from their computer and use awkward headsets or purchase Skype dedicated hardware for making and receiving calls. With the Skype Call Centre ATA users can now Skype enable existing analogue phones, for example corded and cordless phones and use these to make and receive Skype calls.
Once you've connected the Call Center to your computer and phone line, you can also call Call Center from any phone anywhere in the world and tell it which Skype contact you would like to call. Call Center then makes and transfers you to the free Skype call.
Call Center will also forward Skype calls to any phone number of your choice so you don’t miss a call. Now you can be anywhere and still receive your important Skype calls.
When you call someone who isn't online and available you can choose to have Call Center call your mobile or any ordinary phone number of your choice as soon as your Skype contact is online.
