IW Distribution has launched the LAN cordless DUALphone, a new concept in bringing low cost VoIP services to homes and business.
The LAN Cordless DUALphone is based on the SIP standard and consists of a VoIP gateway that is easily connected to a broadband connection. The LAN cordless DUALphone supports up to three simultaneous SIP calls and up to eight cordless DECT handsets, all with unique phone numbers. In addition the gateway includes a standard PSTN connection that provides back-up in case the broadband system is down.
