Latest in wireless voice communications
IW Distribution Pty Ltd has announced the launch of the RTX 4002 Indoor DECT Repeater that connects wirelessly with existing DECT GAP Base Stations to extend coverage for users, in many cases doubling the existing range of the system.
The RTX4002 is compatible with standard DECT GAP systems and has been tested with many leading DECT brands including Alcatel, Ascom, Ericsson, Siemens and many others.
Daryl Chambers, Director at IW Distribution, says that DECT has been the standard for wireless voice communications for many years and the RTX4002 further enhances the functionality of existing or new DECT GAP systems by extending coverage and filling in poor DECT coverage areas at a cost well below that of adding extra base stations.
The RTX4002 DECT Repeater is intended for use in business, as well as residential applications provided the system uses the DECT GAP standard.
The RTX4002 has two internal antennas and can be used to double the effective range of a DECT Base Station in a desired direction.
In addition, the RTX4002 Repeater uses a new, matchless automatic registration method. With this new method, the repeater automatically seeks and acquires the DECT/GAP base station that emits the most powerful signal.
For the end user, this means that the repeater installation has been simplified to Plug-and-Play.
The RTX4002 DECT Repeater is available from IW Distribution and leading DECT dealers.
