ALSTOM has re-introduced GE range of APO Modular Polyester Boxes to the Australian Market.
The GE range of APO Modular Polyester Boxes consists of nine boxes based on 300 and 185mm modules. The bases and covers are made of grey (RAL 7036) hot moulded glass fibre reinforced polyester, dyed in mass. Transparent polycarbonate covers are available as an option. Mounting plates are available in 5mm pertinax or 2mm steel.
The enclosures provide optimum security to both operators and equipment, as the enclosures feature total insulation and protection degree IP67 (IP 66 with clear covers). The external mechanical impact strength rating is to IK10. The APO enclosures can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 70°C with peak temperatures of up to 150°C. The transparent covers resist service temperatures of up to 120°C.
The APO Modular Polyester Boxes are self-extinguishing, flame-retardant halogen free and UV stabilised. The APO Boxes are also corrosion resistant and maintenance free.
