INLINE Systems are marketing their low-cost remote video inspection tools for use in the industrial maintenance industry in areas of building, aviation, vehicle, customs, police inspection and maintenance. The system is called Snake Eye II, which is a lightweight and low-cost rugged and portable video inspection system. The Snake Eye II video inspection system features a waterproof CCD camera head and TFT-LCD display technology, which delivers crystal clear, full colour portable videos.
According to INLINE Systems, the Snake Eye II video inspection system is modular in design and can be configured easily to inspect areas that are usually not visible to naked eyes. The Snake Eye II video inspection system is versatile with an interchangeable camera head that can be attached to a rigid wand or as a finger attachment and has extendable cables up to 30 metres. The system’s unit is equipped with a range of accessories and comes with plug-in capabilities, one of which allows the user to connect to a standard VCR to record and play back images. The Snake Eye II video inspection system is designed to function in harsh industrial environments and is constructed of high impact, heavy duty plastic that can withstand shocks and vibrations. The Snake Eye II video inspection system also resists water, dust and dirt particles and can also be used in places having grease and non-solvent based chemicals.
The Snake Eye II video inspection system from INLINE Systems is light in weight and has a compact display unit, which houses a high resolution (960x234) full colour five inch TFT-LCD display and rechargeable battery pack. The display screen of the video inspection system has a built-in protective, plastic cover and can be rotated to maintain proper image orientation for the viewer. Designed for easy one-handed operation, the display unit contains three colour-coded push button controls, power on/off, camera head light on/off for operation in low light conditions and brightness adjustment to see better in bright light conditions.
Two ports at the base of the display unit in the Snake Eye II video inspection system allow for additional plug-in capabilities. The Video in/out feature connects to a standard VCR for image recording and play back. The AC/DC adapter and a 12 volt cigarette lighter adapter in the system allow for continuous non-battery power operation.
