Supplier News

IFS  have appointed Charles Rignall as Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand. Charles Rignall’s appointment follows that of Managing Director Rob Stummer in May. Both appointments are part of IFS’ corporate strategy to further their investment in the Asia Pacific region.

Charles Rignall is tasked with developing and executing a new sales strategy and increasing brand awareness of IFS in Australia and New Zealand.

He will work with Rob Stummer to develop innovative go-to-market strategies and drive sales through market analysis and segmentation.

IFS have a customer base in Australia and New Zealand in the manufacturing, asset management, aviation and defence markets. Customers include Jet Turbine Services, a joint venture between Qantas Airways and Lufthansa Technik; Globus and Siemens Transport.

Prior to IFS, Charles Rignall was Southern Region Sales Manager for global business process management software company, IDS Scheer Australia, with responsibility for Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.

According to Charles Rignall, IFS have a significant customer base worldwide but the Australian and New Zealand markets remain largely untapped and he is looking forward to communicating the benefits of the IFS offering to drive sales in the region.

Rob Stummer has welcomed Charles Rignall to the team who he says has over 30 years of enterprise sales and management experience and is highly regarded by other key players in the ANZ IT industry.

In addition to building a sales team in Australia and New Zealand, Charles Rignall will identify companies to partner with, enabling IFS to leverage its global experience.

Charles Rignall has also held senior sales, marketing and business development positions at Staffware, IBM, Hitachi Data Systems and Atlantic Computer Systems (both in Australia and the USA).
