ICP Electronics Australia has announced the release of its first single board computer to support a Tualatin Pentium III/Celeron CPU and 64-bit/66MHz PCI bus, the Rocky-3706EVG.
Fitted with a Tualatin Pentium III CPU, it supports up to 2GB SDRAM and features 512kB L2 cache. The board can operate under high temperatures (up to 60°C) and still maintain stable operation.
This single board computer features an onboard ATI Rage XL 2D/3D VGA controller supporting up to 8MB V-RAM. The advanced 64-bit PCI technology maximises I/O bandwidth for the next generation of 64-bit PCI cards supporting up to 528MB of data bandwidth.
The Rocky-3706EVG supports dual onboard LAN, one 10/100Mbps (Intel 82559) and an optional Gigabit Broadcom BCM5701/5703 Ethernet chip, to assist administrators perform fault tolerance, load balancing and manage the network with efficiency and ease.
The Broadcom BCM5701 is a fully integrated 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet media access control and physical layer transceiver solution for high performance network applications.
The board supports M-Systems 2000 DiskOnChip up to 288MB and a software programmable Watchdog Timer. The Rocky-3706EVG's I/O devices include two RS232 serial ports, one parallel (SPP/EPP/ECP), two USB 1.1 (pin header), one IrDA, one floppy disk drive and two ATA-33/66 channel supports.
