ICP Electronics Australia has announced the release of the new IP-67 Waterproof Ethernet Switches from O-ring.
The IES-2050-M12 is a light-managed, Redundant Ring waterproof Ethernet switch featuring 5x 10/100Based-TX ports, and fully complies with the IP-67 standard. The IES-1050-M12 is an unmanaged waterproof Ethernet Switch with 5x10/100Base-Tx which is also fully compliant with IP-67 standard.
With the support of Ethernet Redundancy protocol, O-Ring (recovery time < 10ms over 250 units of connection) and RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1w/D) can protect your mission-critical applications from network interruptions and temporary malfunctions through its fast recovery technology.
Both IES-2050-M12 and IES-1050-M12 are constructed of rugged, weatherproof aluminium. The IES-2050-M12/1050-M12 waterproof Ethernet switches also feature RJ45 Ethernet ports with M12 type connectors, which provide waterproof, anti-shock, and dust-tight connections. Additionally, the wide operating temperature range (-40°C to 70°C) makes the waterproof Ethernet switches suitable for use in the toughest industrial environments.
