ICP Electronics Australia has announced the release of its multimedia industrial PC board, the Nova-7800. This new single board computer is powered by a Mobile Intel Pentium III processor with an additional video capture function.
The Nova-7800 is a multi-functional SBC that offers high performance with an array of additional features enhancing the video capabilities for a variety of environments.
It features the low power consumption of the Mobile Intel Pentium III with 133MHz FSB chip. The board is equipped with standard I/O functions including VGA, a LAN port and PS/2 connection.
In addition, the Nova-7800 features two IEEE-1394 FireWire ports, with the latest high-speed transmission technology allowing fast graphic transmission between digital devices.
The optional Trident CyberBlad XP 32MB SDRAM graphic controller delivers a 256-bit pixel-processing pipeline for 3D performance and features high-resolution flat panel support with a resolution of up to 1600 x 1200 providing sharp images.
The Nova-7800 is equipped with two USB ports and an IrDA port by pin header and PCMCIA card bus. The solid state disk function includes one DiskOnChip socket and one CompactFlash type II socket onboard.
The Nova-7800 combines the latest Mobile Pentium technology and high-end multimedia capabilities creating an all-in-one embedded SBC.
