ICP Electronics Australia has announced the release of the KINO-690S1 Mini-ITX motherboard with an AMD turion 64 x 2, mobile Sempron CPU. This board features VGA & DVI function, Dual PCIe Gigabit Ethernet, 8x USB 2.0, 4x SATA II and audio.
The KINO-690S1 supports DDR2 400/533/667MHz up to 2GB and dual display via VGA, DVI and HDTV-Out. The HDTV supports up to 1080i/1080p resolutions by component interface.
The AMD 690G system chipset combined with the Radeon Xpress1250 graphics core supports H.264, WMV9, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and DivX formats making this board suited to applications like digital signage.
The KINO-690S1 features a PCI expansion slot and 8-bit digital I/O. Additional interfaces support includes 3x RS-232, 1x RS-232/422/485, 8x USB2.0, 4x SATA II with RAID 0,1, 10 support, 1x IDE and 2x PS/2 ports for keyboard and mouse.
The KINO-690S1 accepts single core and dual core AMD CPUs. The entry-level is the mobile AMD Sempron single core 2100, 1GHz, 256KM, 800MHz, and socket S1 that consumes only 9 watts.
