ICP Electronics has released its next generation e-mobile network storage server, the NAS-104R. This mobile device features four LAN, one WAN and is only half the size of a notebook computer, making it an ideal mobile storage device.
The NAS-104R is available in 40GB, 80GB and 120GB capacities and offers multiple file system options with RAID 0, 1, 5 and JBOD. The network file protocol supports Microsoft Networks (CIFS/SMB), Apple (AFP), UNIX (NFS), web browser, and file transfer protocol (FTP).
The self-contained DHCP server allows the NAS-104R to be independent from network server. Simply plug in the power and turn it on.
The NAS-104R router gives personal, home and small business instant internet connectivity through cable/DSL within seconds.
Configurable as a DHCP network server, the NAS-104R acts as the only externally recognised internet gateway on a local area network (LAN).
The NAS-104R can also be configured via a web filter in the administration setting to filter internal users' access to the internet and serve as a NAT firewall against unwelcome intruders or hackers.
The router offers advanced functions such as dynamic and static port routing, DMZ hosting, filtering and forwarding. All of these functions can be easily configured through your PC's web browser.
The compact mobile design of hardware and the maturity of the embedded operating system make the NAS-104R reliable, robust and cost effective. ICP Electronics 02 9457 6011.
