ICP Electronics has released the Rocky-512EV, an embedded low power consumption ISA-bus single board computer featuring an onboard National Semiconductor Geode GX1 300MHz CPU.
The Rocky-512EV can be supplied with standard options of 64MB or 128MB SDRAM onboard and supports up to 512MB in a single 168-pin slot. The VGA function shares up to 4MB system memory (V-RAM) and has a resolution of 1280 x 1024.
The Rocky-512EV mounted with a low-power consumption NS GX1 CPU directly on the board, eases the process of upgrade and installation for system engineers.
In addition, the NS GX1 300MHz CPU has been specially designed to work well in environments with temperatures of up to 60°C without the need for a fan. The power consumption is only 5V@1.8A (with an 128MB SDRAM module).
This single board computer features an onboard Realtek RTL8100 10/100Mbps Ethernet controller, a Compact Flash Type II Socket and a DiskOnChip socket.
The fanless, low power consumption and onboard SDRAM design makes the Rocky-512EV an ideal ISA board solution for low power consumption or industrial applications.
