IEI has announced the release of the NOVA-HM551 5.25" Single Board Computer, available in Australia from ICP Electronics Australia and suitable for industrial applications such as automation, multimedia and communication.
Based on the Socket G1 Intel 32nm/45nm Core i7/ i5/ i3 and Celeron processor, the NOVA-HM551 is a 5.25" single board computer supports dual-channel 800/1066 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (system max. 8 GB), 18/24-bit dual channel LVDS/analogue CRT/dual HDMI output and also PCIe x16, dual PCIe Mini card and PCI-104 devices.
Using the HM55 chipset with these processors offers users improved CPU and graphics performance compared with a GM45/T9400 configuration.
The Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) BIOS allows you to use your own Pre-Boot Application (PBA), drivers and support utilities.
A PCIe x16 slot, PCI-104 and 2x PCIe Mini card slots offer flexible growth options.
NOVA-HM551 offers a wide temperature range from -10°C to 60°C while the Software programmable Watchdog Timer supports a 1~255sec. system reset.
Equipped with up to 8GB DDR3 800/1066MHz SDRAM SO-DIMM system memory, the single board computers offer 4x RS-232 ports, 2x RS-232/422/485 with auto flow control, 8x USB 2.0 and 4x SATA 3Gb/s with DC power output.
