ICP Electronics Australia to launch Fanless Panel PCs

Afolux Series of Fanless Panel PC

ICP Electronics Australia  will be launching its Afolux Series of Fanless Panel PCs at CeBit Australia 2008. These slim line PCs are available with 7”, 8.4”, 12.1”, 15”, 17” and 19” sized LCD Displays.

The 7”, 8.4” and 12.1” PCs are based on AMD Geode LX 800 CPU boards and feature two RS-232 COM ports, dual LAN and two USB2.0 ports. While the 15”, 17” and 19” Afolux PCs are based on a VIA C7 1.5GHz CPU board and feature two RS-232 COM ports, dual LAN, two USB2.0 ports and eSATA.

The systems support up to 1GB of DDR memory and are standard equipped with 256MB or 512MB onboard.

The AMD Geode LX 800 and VIA C7 1.5GHz CPUs have been integrated into the Afolux Series as they have low power consumption, reducing the heat they produce and allowing the systems to be completely fanless.

The front panel of the Afolux is rated to IP64 allowing the PC to be used in a dusty and damp environments. This Afolux Series of Fanless Panel PCs supports standard 75/100 VESA mounting and can be wall, panel, stand or arm mounted.

The Afolux Series of Fanless Panel PCs makes an ideal ultra-slim solution for embedded applications. The Afolux Series of Fanless Panel PCs integrates low power consumption and high performance CPUs, provides lots of I/O ports and supports multiple mounting options.
