ICP Electronics Australia have released the all-in-one in-wall panel PC designed for home automation. The in-wall panel PC ranges between 8” and 15” in LCD size and has in-wall mounting in three simple steps. The users need to cut-out the panel, screw onto the wall and put on the faceplate.
The in-wall panel PC features the Intel Atom 1.6GHz, which ensures a low powered system, changeable faceplate/skin sticker to match diverse decoration styles.
The in-wall panel PC metal casting design housing replaces the fan as it dissipates heat. It also contains a built-in CMOS camera with digital microphone and Bluetooth technology for wireless connection to peripherals such as headphones, keyboard and mouse, ambient light sensors for automated screen adjustments to optimise viewing. The front of this system is IP64 rated, which means it is splash proof.
The all-in-one in-wall panel PC has expandability options with various powered I/Os, which can turn the house into a fully digital home, offering audio control, lighting control, energy management and security.
