ICP Electronics Australia has announced the release of the IMBA-X9654, a high-powered ATX form factor industrial motherboard from IEI.
The high powered features of the IMBA-X9654 motherboard can support "server grade” performance, providing excellent expansion capabilities suitable for server room applications with extended PCIe x4 slots by a PLX switch chip. The IMBA-X9654 has space for up to 4x LAN cards.
The IMBA-X9654 motherboard features the Intel Q965 chipset, which offers superior manageability, graphics, stability and data protection. It can be optimised to support the most advanced business operating systems, and also supports Intel Core2 Quad, Core2 Duo, Pentium D, Pentium 4 and Celeron D processors when used in Intel’s LGA775 package.
The motherboard features 1066/800/533 MHz front side bus, dual-channel DDR2 800/667/533 MHz SDRAM up to 8GB, and a PCI Express switching chip, giving the IMBA-X9654 greater expansion opportunities than previous motherboards. An Intel® ICH8DO chipset provides support for 8x USB 2.0 and 6x SATA II ports.
