ICP Electronics has announced the release of its first Intel Pentium 4 single board computer with 533MHz front side bus, and supporting DDR SDRAM, the Rocky-4783EV.
This board also integrates IEEE-1394 and USB2.0 technology to enhance data transfer performance.
The Rocky-4783EV supports 1.4-2.53GHz Intel Pentium 4 CPU and up to 2GB of DDR SDRAM (200/266/333) in two DIMM sockets, making it one of ICP's high-end P4 SBC solutions.
The board's full function design includes such features as chipset integrated 2D/3D graphics engine with AGP 4x bandwidth (64MB V-RAM), onboard 10/100Mbps Ethernet controller, three IEEE-1394 ports by pin-header and built-in USB2.0.
It supports one CompactFlash Type II module and AC'97 compliant audio.
Industrial applications will benefit from the board's SiS651 + 962 chipset and four USB2.0 ports by pin-header, offering efficiency and value without compromising performance.
USB 2.0 provides an expandable, 'Plug and Play' serial interface that ensures a standard low-cost connection for peripheral devices. USB2.0 will support up to 480Mbps for high-speed devices.
