ICP Electronics has announced the release of its four-port LAN carry board series, the MLAN-104 and MLAN-104SSL.
These 32-bit PCI network cards feature a flexible design and can be easily integrated into many of ICP's industrial PC systems.
The MLAN-104/104SSL offers three Ethernet module solutions to suit a range of applications. The LM-2G is a dual Broadcom 5701 Gigabit Ethernet module; the LM-102N is a dual Intel i82559 10/100Mbps Ethernet module; and the LM-102R is a dual Realtek RTL-8100 10/100Mbps Ethernet module.
The four RJ-45 LAN ports support from 10/100Mbps to the latest Gigabit Ethernet, providing flexibility to a variety of appliances.
The MLAN-104SSL (secure sockets layer) version tackles concerns relating to Internet privacy and security issues. Many users require a secured Internet environment to complete such tasks as banking transactions, purchasing and messaging.
The MLAN-104SSL, equipped with the Rainbow Fastmap SSL Accelerator, provides a secure networking environment.
Both the MLAN-104 and MLAN-104SSL boards are IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3X compliable, with 32-bit full duplex mode to fulfil high efficiency networking and high bandwidth requirement.
The LM-2G Ethernet module coupled with the MLAN-104 or MLAN-104SSL utilises the Gigabit LAN function and can provide a high-speed networking solution.
