ICP Electronics Australia has announced the release of the AFL2D-12BS-LXPOS 12.1” fanless Panel PC with barcode scanner, resistive touch screen and AMD Geode LX-800 CPU, making it ideal for Point-of-Sale applications.
The AFL2D-12BS-LXPOS features a Barcode Scanner which accurately decodes all 1D and 2D codes, even if they are wrinkled, damaged or poorly printed. The 1.3 mega-pixel CMOS sensor, along with the 50°/37.5° large scanning area and the maximum resolution of 1024 x 768, enables the capture of high resolution images for decoding.
This Panel PC boasts system memory up to 2 GB SDRAM, built-in 802.11b/g wireless LAN, 2x built-in 1.5W speakers, 1x compact flash slot and optional built-in HSDPA module for mobile connection. AFL2D-12BS-LXPOS is quick to install, and also offers 2x extra USB ports for easy connection to accessories such as a thermal printer or card reader.
The front panel is IP64 rated making it dust and water-resistant. Other features include 2x RS-232 9-pin switch-selectable COM ports, a Red/Yellow/Green LED indicator, 1x LAN and 1x RJ-12 (12V) for cash drawer operation.
