Publishing Marketing Services, Pansing Distribution upgrades to IBS Bookmaster 7.3
Publishing Marketing Services and Pansing Distribution are the recent IBS Bookmaster Asian customers to successfully upgrade to IBS Bookmaster 7.3, and ensure they are 13-digit ISBN compliant.
With 13-digit ISBN coming into effect in early 2007, IBS Publishing customers around the world have been upgrading to IBS Bookmaster 7.3 to ensure they are compliant to the new standard.
IBS has been working with all its publishing customers throughout 2006 to ensure they are ready to handle 13-digit ISBN’s in 2007. PMS went live with IBS Bookmaster 7.3 in early October. Pansing then followed in November and IBS expects the remaining Asian customers to successfully upgrade by early next year.

Pansing Distribution has been using IBS Bookmaster since 1999 and is part of the Times Publishing Group, a major publishing and printing group in Asia Pacific, with a network of offices in the USA, Europe and Australia, and throughout Asia.
IBS Bookmaster 7.3 was released in April, 2006, and is the official release that will enable publishing customers to become 13-digit compliant. Customers will also have access to additional functionality, as a result of upgrading to release 7.3, such as significant warehouse enhancements, improved forecasting features, increased e-Commerce functionality and the new Book Clubs module.
