Hylec Controls has launched a new benchtop vibration chamber designed for vibration testing of compact components and electronics.
Designed for reliability testing of these components, the TCB-1.3
benchtop vibration chamber may be used as a standalone vibration table
for vibration testing or placed inside an environmental chamber for
combined vibration and temperature testing for greater flexibility and quicker
return on investment.
Key features of the TCB-1.3 benchtop vibration chamber include an all-axis vibration system; four pneumatically-actuated vibration hammers providing six degrees of freedom; random vibration with X,Y,Z axis and roll, pitch and yaw rotation; and two accelerometers, one for control and one vibration monitor with a range of 1 to 60 GRMs provided as standard.
The TCB-1.3 benchtop vibration chamber delivers several benefits, especially with its dual purpose design that allows for use as a benchtop vibration chamber as well as within a temperature chamber for combined temperature and vibration testing. A removable lid and easy lift off control console allow the table base to be placed inside a typical 16 cu. ft. (456L) or larger chamber.
The TCB-1.3 benchtop vibration chamber uses random vibration technology combined with an environmental chamber to provide an economical method to perform combined environmental testing with quiet operation.
An advanced touch‐screen controller is provided for the environmental chamber, while new vibration tracking software provides the ability to control, profile, data log and chart temperature/vibration, and generate PSD curves.
