With the maturity, customers can determine the strength of the concrete in the concrete part up to 70% of the 28–day strength. Testing the degree of concrete maturity should be according to DIN 1045-3.
The Mature Computer MC 900 concrete testing equipment, available from Hylec Controls , measures and registers the course of the concrete temperature and calculates its course of maturity according to the de Vree method.
The maturity is continually determined from the moment the concrete is put in. Results can be read on the display at any time or can be printed out. Measurements are possible on any part of the concrete.
The Mature Computer MC 900 concrete testing equipment is easy to install or operate and is economical in use.
By determining resistance to pressure, it is possible to determine the right time for:
- dismantling the formwork and removing the supports
- reinforcing and loading
- sawing, cutting and drilling
- ending the after treatment
- lifting precast concrete parts
The concrete maturity gives an insight in the hardening process and helps when optimising concrete mixtures, working methods and planning.
