American based pump manufacturer, Gorman Rupp, has announced a change to its method of distribution in Australia. Newly formed company, Hydro Innovations, will now be the distributor for The Gorman Rupp Company’s range of products, to all market sectors.
A spokesman for Hydro Innovations, Garry Grant, said that the Australian market can expect many new initiatives in new products, product support and product training.
Garry Grant says that the new company will be carrying upwards of $500,000 worth of pumps and parts to support Gorman Rupp customers in Australia and that customers can expect high levels of value added service and application assistance.
Gorman Rupp are known for wastewater applications with its T series range of pumps according to Garry Grant, but he also advises that they are very strong in the handling of fuels, viscous liquids, sludges, slurries and construction site dewatering with other parts of their extensive pump range.
Hydro Innovations will soon be introducing the ultra V range of wastewater pumps to the Australian market, and will schedule presentation dates in all capital cities in the near future.
Water Authorities, Councils and large industrial users of water are expected to be very interested in the range.
