The Gorman Rupp submersibles (JW Series) pumps offered by Hydro Innovations , are designed to meet the specifications of municipal authorities and industrial plants for sludge, sewage and industrial waste water applications.
Incorporating Gorman-Rupp design experience since 1933, the JW submersible pumps are specifically engineered for efficient and economical dewatering. These submersible pumps quietly operate unattended under water, making them less prone to damage by vandals or weather than above-ground pumps.
There are over 400 submersible pump models, including
- Widebase models for open pits and quarries;
- Slimline models for drilled wells and narrow openings;
- Trash-handling models for slurries and debris-laden water;
- and smaller, portable and sump models for general purpose use.
These versatile pumps operate fully or partially submerged and work equally well in warm or subfreezing conditions.
Gorman-Rupp’s Slimline submersible pumps are lighter and easier to handle than their larger Widebase cousins, with sizes ranging from 1-1/2" (37.5 mm) to 20" (500 mm), capacities up to 15,000 GPM (950 lps) and heads up to 600' (183 m).
