Sperian Protection, the leading manufacturer and global expert in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), announces the newest addition to its existing eyewear line, the SolarPro.
A premium style of safety eyewear, the Sperian SolarPro provides wearers with superior protection and coverage thanks to its sleek modern design and high performance lens options and coatings.
Featuring a sport-inspired wraparound and 100% dielectric design, which provides close-up face protection, the Sperian SolarPro delivers superior peripheral and side vision as well as coverage in environments where protection from the sun is crucial to performance.
Available in mirrored, polarised and photochromic lens options, the Sperian SolarPro is suitable for a wide range of applications including construction, utility line work, landscaping as well as oil and gas industries in addition to any industry where glare from the sun can cause eye strain.
Whether working indoors or outdoors, the Sperian SolarPro photochromic lens option is engineered to change from a clear lens to a grey lens when exposed to UV light, eliminating the need for wearers to change eyewear when moving between indoors and out as well as ensuring an appropriate level of protection at all times when lighting conditions change.
In addition to helping reduce solar glare and eye fatigue, photochromic lenses help increase the eye’s ability to distinguish brightness and contrast, improving overall quality of vision.
Perfect for outdoor work, the Sperian SolarPro with a polarised lens option eliminates glare and visual distortion magnified by flat surfaces such as roads, steel structures and concrete.
Polarised lenses also allow the wearer to see fine details and deep colours without eye strain.
For added protection and to extend the life of the lenses, the Sperian SolarPro range of safety eyewear can be coated using the latest in lens coating technology – the Supra-dura and Dura-streme - as well as anti-fog and hard coat lens coatings.
A high performance anti-scratch coating, which is permanently bonded to the lens, the Supra-dura provides up to five times more lens life than other hard coat lens coatings on the market.
The Dura-streme lens coating, combining a Sperian anti-fog coating on the inside of the lens with a Sperian hard coat on the outside of the lens, provides up to 3 times more lens life than standard anti-fog coatings on the market.
For increased safety and long-wearing comfort, the Sperian SolarPro range of safety eyewear also includes soft temple tip pads, a soft padded nose piece and ratcheting temples for adjustability to ensure the perfect fit for any face.
Sperian SolarPro safety eyewear is certified to AS/NZS 1337 for Medium Impact Protection.
