Howard Leight has released the Pilot, new hybrid push-in style earplugs, available from Sperian . The new Pilot push-in style earplugs are a practical alternative to roll down foam models, and can be used over several days or shifts without impacting its overall performance, delivering a higher degree of comfort and safety for the user. High performance of the multiple-use Quiet model with its patented non-roll design, together with the superior comfort of the bell-shaped single use Max,  result in Pilot earplugs delivering outstanding comfort and control over the fit.

The Pilot hybrid push-in style earplugs feature many advantages, one being a smooth pear-skinned surface for enhanced resilience against dirt build-up. This feature makes these hybrid push in earplugs easy to clean and hygienic earplug compared to earplugs which can have coarser skins and may collect dirt and contaminants more easily. Pilot hybrid push in earplugs are therefore, ideal for use in dirty environments.

Howard Leight’s patented slow recovery polyurethane foam tip is utilised on the earplugs, ensuring maximum comfort and ease of insertion. With a Foam / Stem Ratio (FSR) of 80% foam to 20% stem in its construction - nearly 20% more foam than its nearest competitor – Pilot hybrid push in style earplugs are comfortable push-in style earplugs. The earplugs are easy to insert thanks to a moulded ‘navigation’ stem which glides the earplug into the ear canal for a quick, snug and comfortable fit.  The Pilot hybrid push in style earplugs also eliminate ear irritation sometimes associated with hybrid push-in earplugs.  Engineered with a very small cross-sectional diameter, with a hollow and flexible design, the stem of all pilot earplugs is not intended to be felt in the ear at all.

With a SLC80 23dB Class 4 rating, the Pilot push-in style earplug provides ideal and consistent hearing protection in any noise environment from 100dB to less than 105dB. Pilot push-in style earplugs are available as a corded and non-corded, and is certified to AS / NZ 1270:2002 standards, adding to their safety and convenience.
