Howard Leight by Sperian announced the launch of its new website howardleight.com and the new global website takes the hearing conservation to the next level. The new site offers the visitors a 360-degree experience in fit, selection, protection and motivation, with a variety of content and technology, including product information, best practices in hearing conservation, and the industry's first hearing protector selector.
"The new howardleight.com marks a tipping point in Hearing Conservation," said Patricia Calaby, Product Manager for Sperian Protection Australia Pty Ltd. "We are committed to becoming a safety manager's partner in managing their program, and our new site offers everyone the freshest tools to make Hearing Conservation happen."
The new site was developed based on user feedback that identified the need for a more comprehensive online experience. Howard Leight responded by incorporating more in-depth product knowledge and selection resources, and turn-key motivational tools for use in any hearing conservation program.
Hearing protector selector helps people to solve real needs by providing a range of solutions for their specific applications. Users can identify their noise exposure levels or specific ratings, product styles and/or features, and the most applicable results are recommended. These listings can be printed or instantly emailed to other people directly from the selector. Users can also learn about a variety of environmental considerations and preferences, or "Basics," when selecting HPDs.
Online product catalogue features expanded product information on all Howard Leight® earplugs, earmuffs and accessories, including specifications, recommended applications, literature downloads and related resources.
Best practices in hearing conservation offers educational and program planning information, posters and other motivational materials, and the well-known sound source series of technical articles on hearing conservation topics.
Regionalized content for the Americas, Europe and Australia/New Zealand. The site now offers access to product information, ratings and hearing conservation resources for each visitor's specific geography.
The new site incorporates more user-friendly navigation, including tabbed pages, breadcrumb trails within sections and an enhanced site search functionality.
