Miller by Sperian has released a new version of its AMAX.2 miners and rescue harnesses, which now features a removable miner’s equipment belt.

The new equipment belt has been specifically designed to carry emergency breathing apparatus and other tools, and incorporates a battery and self-rescuer strap.

AMAX.2 miners and rescue harnesses have been engineered for use in mining or rescue applications, and feature:

  • a frontal and rear dorsal fall-arrest D-ring and D-ring extension
  • confined space loops
  • extra wide removable shoulder pads
  • fully adjustable waist and shoulder straps; and
  • padded leg straps with quick connect aluminium buckles.
Manufactured using a heavy duty but lightweight 43mm polyester webbing, the harnesses provide improved durability and strength, with stainless steel hardware to ensure a long service life.

All padding in the harnesses come complete with moisture absorbing 3D mesh panels to provide enhanced stability and breathability in warm weather.

Miller AMAX.2 miners and rescue harnesses also feature high contrasting colours on all load bearing sew patterns, allowing for easy harness inspection and maintenance, and are certified to Australian and New Zealand Standards AS/NZS 1891.1-2007.
