Honda Power Equipment is offering a $200 factory cashback incentive on two of its generator models, the quiet and efficient EU10i and EU20i.
Available from March 1 through to the end of June 2008 (or while stocks last), the offer is sure to please buyers considering one of these versatile generators for either work or leisure pursuits.
According to Honda Power Equipment manager, Ray Briffa, Honda's EU generator models are well known among campers and carvanners alike.
"Honda generators make life on the road much more comfortable by providing power for anything from lighting and kitchen appliances through to the luxury of reverse cycle air conditioning," Ray Briffa said.
"Our EU range of generators utilise Honda's advanced four-stroke technology and are well known for strong reliability, efficiency, smooth power supply and quiet operation.”
"The limited cashback offer brings this technology within the reach of even more people."
Ideal for a wide selection of applications including powering lights, caravan fridges, televisions and kitchen appliances, the Honda EU10i and EU20i generators are not just handy on the road, but also in the home, as a source of back-up power.
Equipped with inverter and sine-wave technology for smooth and surge-free power delivery, the EU range is safe for use with frequency and voltage fluctuation sensitive equipment such as computers and navigation equipment.
Rated at 1000 watt AC / 12 volt 8 amp DC with an operating noise level of just 52 dB(A) and weighing only 13kg, the EU10i generator allows for the conveniences of home without sacrificing the serenity sought by many holiday makers.
Tipping the scales at just 21kg (half the weight of many conventional generators), the more powerful Honda EU20i, rated at 2000 watt AC / 12 volt 8 amp DC, is ideal for those who can't live without their hairdryer, hot water, toaster, microwave and air conditioning.
Another key feature of the EU generators is Honda's load dependant Eco-Throttle, which maintains engine speed and power output at an efficient level under all loads.
This allows the EU10i to provide power for up to eight continuous hours on a full tank of unleaded petrol, whilst the EU20i can be operated continuously for up to 15 hours on a single tank.
In keeping with Honda's long term commitment to the environment, Ray Briffa said the Honda EU10i and EU20i generators were designed and engineered to minimise environmental impact.
"Honda's EU generator range display the e-spec logo, which symbolises Honda's commitment to the environment – the e-spec logo is reserved for products that adopt the highest levels of environmentally friendly technology," Ray Briffa explained.
"Through Honda's advanced four-stroke technology, fuel efficiency is maximised while exhaust emissions are drastically reduced.
"Noise levels are also significantly lower in our four-stroke generators, making them some of the greenest available on the market.
"And taking up our cashback offer, environmentally conscious consumers now have even better access to these products."
