HI-TECH Metrology will display for the first time in Australia the new Infinite Portable CMM from CimCore. The Infinite is the most accurate articulating arm produced.
Features include infinite rotation, quick-change probes with automatic probe recognition and a fully integrated Wi-Fi. The new Infinite series is available in six or seven-axis configuration with measuring ranges of 1.2m, 1.8m, 2.4m, 2.8m, 3m and 3.6m.
Linear motor drive technology along with Renishaw Analogue Probe Scanning will be demonstrated on the Sheffield Endeavor CMM. Australia's most affordable fully automatic CMM, the Sheffield DiscoveryII, will be shown as a flexible shop floor gauge running Single Touch Interface software. These Sheffield CMMs combine many of the traditional inspection methods such as micrometer, height gauge, and surface plate into one flexible inspection device.
The latest technology in non-contact video measurement from Micro-Vu can also be seen on the stand with a Vertex 420 running InSpec software measuring electronic, medical, sheet metal and plastic components.
New and easy to use measuring instruments from Hommelwerke for the measurement of surface finish, contour and form will also be shown including the portable T500 and the fully programmable T8000 CNC surface finish and contour instrument.
Hi-Tech Metrology is at stands A50 & A60 in the Austech Pavilion at National Manufacturing Week 2005, in Melbourne, May 10-13.
