HERAEUS Amba Australia , a manufacturer of ultra-specialist light sources for industrial processes, will feature the new fast response medium wave emitters and carbon IR technology.
The Fast Response Medium Wave emitters offer exceptional stability and high power density. Available in lengths up to 6m, the devices transfer high power over longer lengths with a gold reflector doubling the effective emitted radiation. The device is particularly suitable for drying processes with short cycles due to on/off switching capability.
Carbon IR technology combines the advantages of medium wave radiation with very fast response times. Operating at a wavelength particularly suitable for use with paper, plastics and textiles, Carbon emitters achieve significantly higher efficiency than short wave emitters and consequently heating processes are much faster and use less energy resulting in cost savings. Demonstrations of both units will be conducted.
