HENDY Coils has installed equipment to enable the addition of an internal turbulator to one of its regular range of heat exchange coils.
This allows the product to be used as an effective heat exchanger to dissipate heat from oil or compressed air to the atmosphere. The insert consists of a thin tube with a die-formed wavy aluminum strip spiralling around it. This is mechanically bonded to the inside of the primary surface to increase the heat transfer surface area and raise fluid velocity.
The coils can be custom made in a variety of sizes and configurations to suit a range of applications. Existing units can be copied for replacements that are no longer available from the original equipment manufacturer.
