Heat and Control's new Tortilla Toaster Oven maintains true conveyor belt tracking and provides precise toasting and baking control for restaurant style and standard tortilla chips and tortillas.

The fully adjustable, low intensity pre-mix ribbon burner system allows accurate control of heat distribution.  Infra-red or ribbon burners are available above the top conveyor pass.

Adjustable draft control creates the optimal toasting and baking environment without fuel-wasting overdrafting. Radiant heat loss is minimised by stainless steel clad insulated interior doors.  Air space between the inner and outer doors and a double insulated hood keep the oven exterior cool to the touch.

Both sides of the oven are equipped with hinged doors for complete interior access. Stable Structure designs assure true tracking for CB-5, woven wire or optional slatted belting.

A power belt transfers product from the top pass to the second pass without sticking. All drive components are extra-heavy duty, easily available ‘off-the-shelf" parts.  Options include automatic temperature control of each conveyor pass, and customised control systems. The Tortilla Toaster Oven is part of Heat and Control's complete line of equipment for processing corn and tortilla chips, tortillas, taco shells and tostadas from cooked corn or masa flour.
