A new 3-in-one digital test instrument designated the ST616-CT from Convir for the measurement of environmental conditions is now available from Heastern Industries .
This instrument has proven very popular in Europe for monitoring and recording environmental conditions in industries such as the building trade, factory production spaces and high volume ‘people traffic flow’ areas found in shopping centres, or equally useful measuring conditions in confined spaces.
The ST616-CT has an in-built non-contact temperature measurement feature that will measure surface temperatures up to 500°C. This non-contact temperature measurement feature has laser sighting for more precise aiming.
In addition, the ST616-CT incorporates a relative humidity and combination air temp measurement probe.
Standard features include a large LCD screen, which simultaneously shows temperature and RH. Maximum values of measurements taken can be recalled from a 36-point memory storage facility. Also resolution is selectable, down to one decimal place in both temperature and RH.
The ST616-CT has proven both practical and popular in applications such as the food industry where both temperature and moisture are important considerations.
The ST616-CT is completely non-invasive and all measurements are non-contact, food cross-contamination is accordingly minimised.
Other popular applications for the ST616-CT are in the pharmaceutical and medical production industry, hothouses for the incubation and growing of foodstuffs, fresh flower preparation for export, small goods/cold meat production and in the building industry for checking surface temperatures of walls, roofs, inner wall insulation efficiency as well as ventilation systems.
The ST616-CT comes complete with a carry case, batteries and a factory calibration certificate.
