Sultan liquid level sensors, available from Hawk Measurement Systems , emit a high powered Acoustic Wave transmit pulse that is reflected from the surface of the liquid being measured. The reflected signal is processed using specially developed software to enhance the correct signal and reject false echoes.
The non intrusive level measurement sensors transmit these high powered waves to ensure minimal losses through the environment where the sensor is located. This high powered emitted pulse means that any losses have far less effect than traditional ultrasonic devices. More energy is transmitted, therefore more energy is returned.
The receiver circuitry of these liquid level sensors has been designed to indentify and monitor low level return signals even when noise levels are quite high.
To ensure maximum temperature accuracy to the outputs and display, the measured signal is temperature compensated.
